A family spending meaningful time together at home

For the family trying to do the right thing

Choosing hospice isn’t giving up on your parent.

It can mean choosing more comfort for them, more guidance for you, and a local team to help carry what your family has been carrying alone.

A conversation is not a commitment to hospice.

Why families trust Treasure Coast Hospice

You can be their child again—not their entire care team.

Needing help does not mean you have failed your parent. It means the care has become too much for one person to carry. Our team supports their comfort and gives you practical, emotional, and spiritual support, too.

01

You won’t have to chase down answers

A coordinated team of physicians, nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains, counselors, and volunteers works from one plan and stays connected to your family.

02

Care comes to your parent

Support is provided wherever they call home, with three local inpatient units available when symptoms need a higher level of care.

03

We care for the caregiver, too

Teaching, practical guidance, emotional and spiritual support, respite care, and grief services help you feel less alone in the caregiving role.

What happens next

You don’t need to have the answer before you ask.

You do not need a referral, the right medical words, or a final decision. We’ll explain the next step plainly and meet your family where you are.

  1. 01

    Tell us what is happening

A local team member listens first, answers your questions, and helps you understand what hospice would—and would not—mean for your parent.

  2. 02

We meet “too soon” or “too late” without judgment

If hospice may fit, a nurse or social worker can meet your parent wherever they are. If it does not, you still leave with clearer information.

  3. 03

A care team shares the load

Nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains, and care coordinators help with symptoms, medications, equipment, and daily questions—so you can spend more time being family.

The Treasure Coast Hospice difference

A promise to show up for your whole family.

For more than four decades, our nonprofit mission has allowed us to build services around the needs of Treasure Coast families—not shareholders.

“It brings me peace knowing she has found a home and is loved and being cared for. I appreciate your kindheartedness! This makes my heart happy.”

01

Community nonprofit since 1982

Founded by local volunteers, Treasure Coast Hospice remains focused on compassionate care close to home.

02

Care regardless of ability to pay

Our nonprofit mission and community support help ensure eligible local families can receive hospice care.

03

Three local inpatient units

Home-like inpatient settings in Stuart and Fort Pierce provide short-term, intensive symptom care near family.

04

Support beyond medical care

Specialized programs serve veterans, children, grieving families, and patients who benefit from music, pet visits, and complementary therapies.

It’s okay not to be sure

You are not choosing less care. You are choosing a different kind of care.

Hospice focuses care on comfort, dignity, and meaningful time together—with hands-on support for your parent and for you. Whether you are planning ahead or facing a change today, you have not asked too early or too late. Asking a question does not lock your family into a decision.

A local team is ready

Doing what’s best can start with one question.

We’ll listen first, explain your options, and help your family move at its own pace—without pressure or judgment.

No pressure. Just answers.

Understand what support could look like.

Share a few details whenever you’re ready. A local care team member will listen and help you explore what may be right for your parent and your family.
